" Master Bishop and the program he provides have taught me not only how to defend myself, but also how to develop and evolve as a human being. Through my Taekwondo training I have discovered new potentials I never knew I had, and my self-confidence has increased. I have learned the importance of self-discipline and perseverance as well as honor and respect for others. My experience at the academy has directly improved my life physically, emotionally & spiritually.
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Our chief want in life is someone who will make us do what we can." Master Bishop and the Norwalk Taekwondo Academy have fulfilled that want for me."

As a mother of two young children, wife to a personal trainer and part-time librarian at two different schools, my life is stressful. I began my martial arts training in 1993 to learn self-defense as I worked in New York City at the time. Ten years, four schools and three belts later, I finally found the Norwalk Taekwon-Do Academy. My reasons for a martial arts training had changed and were (by then) focused on providing exercise, discipline and focus for my two young children. I was looking for a school in which the instructor was more a teacher than a business man. I found the truly educational experience I sought in Master Bishop?s approach to the martial arts, which comes the closest to the philosophical roots and physical training of the martial arts tradition than any of the schools at which I had formerly trained. I am now in far better shape than I was at 29 years old, and I?m more determined than ever before to earn my First Degree Black Belt. My only regret is that I didn?t begin my training with Master Bishop 20+ years ago!

I have known Master Brice Bishop for more than ten years. I am proud to call him my friend and Taekwon-Do brother. Master Bishop's loyalty, humility, integrity and kindness make him a great person. His caring nature makes him one of the best martial arts instructors in the country. He strives for excellence in all area's of his life and devotes his energies towards the betterment of our organization, his family, school and students of Taekwon-Do. He is a real Master of Taekwon-Do!

Master Bishop.
I would like to thank you for allowing Jaci to start taking classes at 4 years old. She has a yellow belt now and is really looking forward to going on to the next belt. You have taught her an extremely intelligent way of focusing and direction. Her confidence has risen to a new level and that's important for little girls. We're so proud of her and what your school has done for her. P.S. She adores you.
Thanks Again
